First Thinking Chamber for South Pars Drilling Was Set Up
Pursuant to a recommendation made by Petropars, the First Thinking Chamber for South Pars Drilling was set up and attended by mangers from POGC and the contractor companies involved in the drilling operations at South Pars Gas Field.
A report released by the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Petropars Group says that the First Thinking Chamber, which was aimed at exchanging ideas, data and experiences related to drilling operations at South Pars Gas Field, was held at the place of Petropars Headquarters and was attended by Engineer Alikhani, POGC Engineering Manger, Engineer Javadian, the Managing Director of POSCO, as well as a number of directors and mangers from OIEC, Iran Drilling National Company, and Dana Energy.
The First Thinking Chamber focused on three topics including (1) general issues and problems, (2) drilling at South Pars and the related challenges, and (3) well completion and the related challenges, and the participants carefully reviewed the hurdles and obstacles existing on the way drilling operations. It should be noted that the second Thinking Chamber will be hosted and held by OIEC.
