Only a short period of time had elapsed after sweet gas was introduced into Phase 19 Refinery, the second flare of the Refinery of Phase 19 of South Pars Gas Field was set afire oJanuary 9, 2016 relying on the untiring attempts and unsparing efforts made by Petropars specialists and experts.
According to a report released by the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Petropars Group, when the second flare of the Refinery of Phase 19 of South Pars was set afire, it implied that gas was going to be introduced into a majority of gas pipelines of the Refinery. Further, it suggested that a major step has been taken to have the Refinery prepared to collect sour gas from SPD2 platform.
