A New Achievement Made by Petropars

We are pleased in informing our dear colleagues at PPL that, as a consequence of so many months of unceasing attempts and endeavors at Phase 12 of South Pars Gas Field Development Project, the first ever TGTU Unit of the SRU Unit was commissioned and made operational. As a result of this, a significant step was taken to attain the bio-environmental objectives set by the Petroleum Ministry as well as the Environment Preservation Organization.
This accomplishment was made at the time when the foreign company having the technology had abandoned us, and notwithstanding the limitations imposed on us, all operations related to the commissioning and exploitation were undertaken and executed by Iranian experts and specialists at POMC, SPGC, POGC and PPL, in full conformity with the governing rules and regulations.
It should be noted that, upon exploitation of the first TGTU Unit, the capacity for sulfur recycling will increase by some 40 tons per day in each row of the SRU Units. This way, the final recycling capacity will register 99% which will not only prevent dissemination of toxic and lethal gases but also will stop waste of the resources.
