In the course of a meeting held at Petropars and attended by the managing directors of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC), and Pars Energand Economic Special Zone and Italy’s Interoil, the results of the feasibility study of making investments for the development of Oil and Gas Services Center at Pars 3 Zone were presented.
The managers of Petropars and Italy’s Interoil produced and presented reports on different scenarios for the development of Oil and Gas Services Center at Pars 3 Zone.
It should be noted that in June 2016 (Khordad 1395) an agreement was made for cooperation between Pars Energy and Economic Special Zone and Petropars and Italy’s Interoil to conduct and carry out a feasibility study for development of Pars 3 Zone, which was the first agreement made ever for development of an exclusive oil center which included exploration activities, off-shore and on-shore production, and subsequently output and exportation of the products from Pars 3 Zone.
The first step of the said agreement comprised the feasibility study for development of Pars 3 Zone with the investment to be made by Italy’s Interoil and the results of the study were presented in the said meeting.
Italy’s Interoil has in its history a record of cooperation with Petropars for development of Phase 12 of South Pars Gas Field, relying on which Interoil has selected Petropars as its technical arm for development of Pars 3 Zone.
It is worth noting that Pars 3, which is also known as North Pars, covers some 16 hectares of Deyr, Dashtee and Tangestan of Bushehr Province. This area includes projects for development of Farzad, Golshan, Ferdowsi and North Pars.
