Meeting Held to Expand Joint Cooperation between Petropars Group and Bank Melli Iran

A meeting was held to expand joint cooperation between Petropars Group and Bank Melli Iran at the presence of Engineer Hamid-Reza Masoudi
A meeting was held to expand joint cooperation between Petropars Group and Bank Melli Iran at the presence of Engineer Hamid-Reza Masoudi, the Managing Director of Petropars Group and Dr. Mohammad-Reza Hosseinzadeh, the Managing Director of Bank Melli Iran (BMI).
A report released by the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Petropars Group reads that the meeting, which was hosted by Petropars, and which was attended by the Managing Director of Bank Melli Iran, members of the Board of Directors and a grioup of top-ranking managers and directors of BMI, reviewed the options and the grounds for expansion of joint and mutual cooperation. 
The Managing Director of Bank Melli Iran initially introduced the activities and operations of the companies and entities affiliated to the BMI, and described Petropars among the most famous and well-known oil and gas companies. According to him, “Petropars has made significant accomplishments in Iran and BMI will be very pleased and privileged to make their contribution to the progress and development of Iran.

Announcing BMI’s readiness to cooperation every banking field and area inside and outside Iran, Dr. Mohammad-Reza Hosseinzadeh stated. “We are pleased to see this meeting held and hopefully the final outcome will contribute to Iran’s national interests and economic development of our country.”
He concluded his remarks saying that BMI has a history of about 91 years and that BMI have always been active in the banking system since its inception. Further, he invited the Managing Director of Petropars Group to pay a visit to BMI’s Headquarters and the entities affiliated to BMI.
At the opening of the meeting, Engineer Hamid-Reza Masoudi welcomed the guests and subsequently briefed the attendants on the latest status of the projects undertaken by Petropars Group and reiterated, “Considering the confidence the Petroleum Ministry has in Petropars, there exist numerous fields and areas in Iran’s oil and gas industry. Hence, in case the banking system of Iran in general and the BMI in particular play a major role in this respect, it will result in long-term cooperation at energy, oil and gas sector of Iran. 
Referring to the plans and programs in process as well as the upcoming projects undertaken by Petropars, the Managing Director of Petropars Group stated, “In addition to the conventional financing models, we need to develop new models which are commensurate with economic circumstances presently prevailing in Iran and which are compatible with all projects and plans in process particularly at the jointly-owned fields and with the projects developed for the maintenance and retention of productions all of which will definitely contribute to and accelerate the progress of projects.
