Domestication of Drilling Equipment Was Initiated by Petropars Group

Domestication of some sophisticated and sensitive equipment of oil and gas industries required by the drilling sector was initiated at the presence of the Managing Director of Petropars Group, for the first time ever by one of the companies affiliated to Petropars Group.

According to a report released by the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Petropars Group, in the course of a visit paid by Engineer Masoudi and a body of managers and directors from Petropars Group to the industrial and administrative spaces of Petropars Group at Kish Island, they approached KCT to be briefed on the process of fabrication and production of some of the most-required and new items including drilling and wellhead equipment.

Some of the items included among the newly-made equipment are the ones which were domesticated and fabricated in Iran for the first time ever relying on the knowledge and expertise of Petropars engineers. Fabrication of such equipment shall not only facilitate execution of the new projects undertaken by Petropars but also shall remove the obstacles and impediments existing on the way of implementation of similar project in oil industry.

The Managing Director of Petropars Group further visited the exclusive spaces of Petropars Group jetty and warehouses at Kish Island port and reviewed the prerequisites deemed imperative for implementation of the new projects undertaken.

Upon completion of his visit of the yard and warehouses located at the exclusive area of Petropars Group at Kish Port, Engineer Masoudi attended a meeting which was held to examine and study the process of integration and transfer to Petropars Limited of the management of warehouses.

Upon review of the circumstances and potentials of Petropars Group at Kish Island, and in order to facilitate and accelerate the process of implementation of the projects ceded recently to Petropars Group, Engineer Masoudi issued the required executive orders.

The visit by the Managing Director of Petropars Group concluded with a visit to administrative and non-administrative buildings of the companies affiliated to Petropars Group.
