Managing Director of Petropars Iran Company (PPI) announced the launch of the LPG export line of South Pars Refinery Phase 19 as the first exporter of these valuable products on the Pars 2 region (Kangan)

According to the report of Public Relations and International Affairs of Petropars Group, Mr  Khosravi considered these lines as one of the most important and sensitive refinery units and stated: With the launch of these lines, Petropars Company registered its name as the first exporter of these valuable products on the Pars 2 region (Kangan).

He emphasized that the commissioning of these lines has been carried out relying on domestic power and without the intervention of foreign companies, said: "By launching these lines, valuable products produced and stored in butane and propane in the tanks of the 147/148 unit to the service port." Tombak has been transferred to site 2 so that from now on we will see the export of LPG products of Phase 19 refinery from this port.

Mr. Khosravi stated that the total use of manpower to launch this project is 40,000 man-hours and added: the components of this project include four refrigeration compressors and four LPG storage tanks along with the relevant equipment consisting of two propane tanks, each with a capacity of 45,000. Cubic meters and two butane tanks, each with a capacity of 35,000 cubic meters.

He stated that four LPG transmission lines, each with a length of about four kilometers and a total of 15.2 kilometers, have been used to connect the LPG lines of the 19th phase refinery to the Tombak service port. The 33kV transmission line was 5.5 km long each and the power lines and instrumentation were approximately 5 km long to the service port of Tombak.

Managing Director of Petropars Iran Company (PPI) emphasized on using domestic capacities in the development of oil and gas industry and said: Petropars tries to get the maximum benefit from domestic contractors and producers in implementing its plans and projects while maintaining high quality.
