Rotary-screw compressors will be manufactured inside the country for the first time with the support of Petropars

For the first time in the country, the screw compressors of the Central Treatment Export Plant (CTEP) of South Azadegan oil field will be designed and manufactured by Iranian manufacturers.

According to the report of public relations and international affairs of Petropars Group, Hamidreza Masoudi emphasized that CTEP is the largest oil and gas treatment process unit in the country and said: “In addition to the mentioned compressors, the design and manufacture of centrifugal compressors of Dehdasht Petrochemical Plant have been awarded to Iranian manufacturers so that all the technical knowledge, raw material procurement, and manufacturing steps are carried out by Iranian engineers and manufacturers.”

Pointing out that the mentioned compressors are the heart of the central treatment unit, he added: “In the manufacture of this important equipment, Petropars will do all it can to transfer knowledge to and support Iranian manufacturers, as it has done in the past.”
