Petropars; Signing of two memorandums of cooperation for localization of gas pressure increase knowledge

  2022 May 16
To localize the knowledge of gas pressure increase in phase 11 of South Pars, the CEO of Petropars Group signed two memorandums of cooperation with Sharif University of Technology and Shahid Beheshti University.

According to the report of Public Relations and International Affairs of Petropars Group, the CEO of Petropars Group said on the sidelines of the signing of this memorandum: "The new approach in Petropars Group in using the capability of knowledge-based companies had started before the Supreme Leader named the year 1401 as the Year of Knowledge-based Companies".
Stating that localization and using the capability of domestic companies has been a priority for Petropars Group, Dr. Mousavi added: "One of our major challenges in phase 11 was increasing the pressure of wells, which Total Company had claimed it could do it in different ways, but it came out of that phase for some reason, including sanctions.
Emphasizing that increasing the pressure of phase 11 of South Pars after leaving Total had still been left without a custodian, the CEO of Petropars Group stated: "Accordingly, from the very beginning of my responsibility in this company, we made up our mind to implement science and technology parks as well as a collection of knowledge-based companies in our country with the cooperation of universities".
He added: "Accordingly, we have developed about 16 scenarios for increasing the pressure of the wells of phase 11, and held continuous negotiations in this regard with different groups during February and March 1400 and April 1401."
The CEO of Petropars Company added: "Currently, the final job description and the concluded memorandums are also aimed at initial studies of pressure increase, and these memorandums actually start the initial and basic studies."
It is noteworthy that these two memorandums were signed on May 16, the last day of the 26th International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition.
