The infrastructure preparation activities (Jacket) of the Farzad-B gas field have reached the implementation phase
In line with following up and accelerating progress in projects with a focus on joint fields, the CEO of Petropars Group visited the construction site of the infrastructure (jacket) of the Farzad-B gas field development project and emphasized the need for technical reforms and a reduction in its implementation time in order to install it in the intended location.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs report of Petropars Group, Dr. Alikhani, in this visit which was held on March 10, 1401 and accompanied by the project managers, by attending the yard of Saf company in Qeshm Island and examining the conditions of the existing jacket, emphasized the seriousness of Petropars to initiate the executive operation of the Jacket’s reforms and its installation in the Farzad-B gas field.
Given the importance of installing the Jacket in the process of drilling operations and development of this joint field, he issued the necessary orders to speed up the necessary reforms on the aforementioned structure and to prepare it as soon as possible to transfer and install it in the intended location in Farzad-B field.
It should be noted that the mentioned infrastructure was previously created for another location, and by applying some changes, it is possible to install it in this field. To this end, it was decided that the contractor, with the help of Petropars company, takes corrective measures in the engineering department, purchasing, and implementing the jacket as soon as possible.
