Central Power Station of the CTEP Launched / Another Step Towards Early Production in CTEP
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Petropars Group, the construction and installation of the central power station and other facilities at the CTEP site commenced in the fall of 2022. Given the scheduled plans to expedite the pre-commissioning of this unit, the operationalization of the power station was emphasized by the CEO of Petropars Group.
With the completion of the construction and installation of this power station, the pre-commissioning operations of the South Azadegan Central Processing Unit (CTEP) have been realized.
This power station includes two main transformers, each with a capacity of 150 megawatts. In addition to supplying the necessary power for the Central Treatment Export Plant (CTEP), it is also responsible for providing power to other facilities in the South Azadegan field and parts of the West Karun processing facilities and other installations.
With the launch of this power station, a new chapter has begun at the CTEP site, and the pre-commissioning operations of the Central Treatment Export Plant project are seriously underway.
It is noteworthy that all equipment installed in this power station has been manufactured and supplied by domestic producers, and the work has been executed using the capabilities and workforce of local contractors.
