CEO of Petropars Group and CEO of the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company Visit CTEP Project
Addressing Challenges in the South Azadegan Shared Oil Field Development Plan
Dr. Hamidreza saghafi, CEO of Petropars Group, along with Nasrullah Zarei, the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company , visited the CTEP project.
According to the report of Public Relations and International Affairs of Petropars Group, Nasrollah Zarei, CEO of the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company, Dr. Hamidreza Saqafi, CEO of Petropars Group, Mahmoudreza Mesbah, board member of Petropars Group, Amirshahram Zaman, CEO of Petropars Iran, Seyed Hamzeh Alamlmolhoda, CEO of Petropars Management and Operations Company (POMC), along with several senior Petropars managers, visited the Central Treatment Export Plant (CTEP) of the South Azadegan oil field.
Following this visit, senior executives from the client (the National Iranian Oil Company) and Petropars discussed the project in a meeting. The discussions focused on the challenges of increasing production and resolving the energy imbalance during the administration of the 14th government, in line with the policies of the National Iranian Oil Company. Specific challenges such as financing, procurement of materials, and project execution were debated.
In the meeting, Nasrollah Zarei, CEO of the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDC), expressed his gratitude to the Petropars team and the contractors involved in the project. He highlighted the significance of the South Azadegan joint oil field and noted Petropars' successful track record in the South Pars gas field. He also emphasized the importance of client collaboration in securing the necessary financial resources, given the complexities of the project.
During the session, which included senior managers of the GC and CTEP projects, Dr. Hamidreza Saqafi, CEO of Petropars Group, outlined the efforts made by Petropars and the challenges encountered. He stressed Petropars’ plans to achieve early production from the South Azadegan oil field before the new year.
Dr. Saqafi also pointed out that Petropars’ team, both at headquarters and on-site, are working around the clock to fulfill their commitments in the joint oil fields and other ongoing projects. He reiterated that, given the National Iranian Oil Company's focus on early production from shared oil fields and the strategic importance of the South Azadegan oil field, Petropars’ team is working to overcome the existing challenges in the project. He also highlighted a specific request from Petropars to the management of the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company: the timely provision of financial resources to expedite the procurement of materials and their delivery to contractors. Dr. Saqafi expressed hope that, with Mr Zarei at the helm of the company, these resources would soon be secured.
